Many health funds now recognise the health benefits of yoga. You may be able to claim a health fund rebate for yoga classes. Each health fund has different claiming processes and benefit amounts. This means that you will need to check your own level of cover and what you need to do to make a successful claim. Health funds often change their eligibility requirements for claiming. Because of this, it is a good idea to check each year what your policy includes. We are registered with Yoga Australia and have provider numbers with several major funds. For a list of yoga friendly funds, please see the Yoga Australia website here>>
Receipt Requirements – Health Fund Rebate for Yoga
A booking confirmation/receipt is automatically emailed to you when you make your booking and payment is received. You can print this and use it to claim with at the end of each term so please keep it!
Alternatively if you have deleted or misplaced your bookings receipt, please get in touch or login and print your own receipt using the instructions below.
- Login here>> (opens in new window)
- Navigate to “Your Bookings”
- Then “Past Bookings”
- Click on the relevant booking and then select “Print” on the button that appears within the screen,
- A new window will open with your full receipt that you can then print out.
If you are on a mobile device eg phone, ipad or similar, you will not be able to print a full receipt. Mobile devices don’t have the capability to display a complex receipt (it’s not our fault, honest! :). Please wait until the end of term to make a claim as you have to have attended the listed sessions in order to make a successful claim. Generally most funds will only pay out on a series of classes, and not for one off or casual sessions.
